Seems that instead of changing the port from 9001 to 9009 in the conf file one 
needs to update it in /etc/sysconfig/tomcat6.  All working fabulously now! :)

Can you send me (directly to [email protected]) the mpa log file?
(/var/log/djigzo.log)

Note that the port numbers of the SOAP port has changed. From releases
notes:

"SOAP port changed from 9000 to 9009 to prevent a port conflict with
nCipher netHSM."

Might be that you need to open port 9009 on a firewall?
