I would speculate that in one of the directories listed in your
LD_LIBRARY_PATH or PERL5LIB env vars there is a libperl.so.5.18 file.
What does this give you:
$ find /home/pdupre/perl_lib /home/pdupre/mylib /usr | grep libperl.so.5.18
