Thanks, Ahmad. Sorry for not having yet answered your question. Yes, I do use the same password for my account and for the gnome-keyring. Yet, the reported problem persists. But, bear in mind, that I do not use Gnome; I use XFCE. I would not like to have my passwords saved as plain text.
