Yesterday, I reflexively tried using Acroread on F26 and it worked.
Somewhere in one of the recent upgrades someone must have made an
adjustment so that the libraries on which Acroread relies became
available.

I had the same experience and a few weeks agoo Ed Greshko and I did
discus it : Result segmentation problems.
Someone must have taken action : Indeed the Acrobat Reader suddenly
functionates.
