We recently had to select a router for the place where I work. After
some consideration we went with Netgate/pfsense, and have been extremely
happy:

The software is built upon FreeBSD. Absolutely no issues for more than a
year.

I will soon need to replace my (poorly supported and unstable) home
router. I will take the same way: Netgate, separate wireless access
point and switch.
