You're seeing no dm because it's disabled. From a previous post of yours:
...$ systemctl status lightdm
● lightdm.service - Light Display Manager
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/lightdm.service; disabled;
vendor preset: disabled)
See the "lightdm.service; disabled" part?
If you want it to run on next boot, enable it via:
systemctl enable lightdm
