The issue is normally the SElinux alert gives me the name of the process causing the problem, not a long string of characters.

Folks,
I got the fllowing SElinux error today:

SELinux is preventing 72733A6D61696E20513A526567 from using the dac_override capability.

Anyone know what this refers to?

Are you getting this through sealert, the SELinux trouble shooter?  If so, use it to report the bug, and if you think it's reasonable, follow the instructions to create a custom policy to allow this.  I don't know what's causing this, but I do know what to do about it.
