I am still doing something wrong. I first did:

And then:
[b...@box9 ~]$ scp -r b...@box6/home/bobg/.thunderbird

[-l limit] [-o ssh_option] [-P port] [-S program]
[[u...@]host1:]file1 ... [[u...@]host2:]file2
I thought it would ask for a password but instead I get error messages?
