Hi,

On a new Fedora 29 installation, I get:

sudo dnf update
...
Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'fedora-modular'
Error: Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'fedora-modular'

So, I look around, and the solution may be:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi

However, it is on updates-testing and I can not get past installing anything
because I always hit the above.

I even download the three rpms and try a local install but get the same result
because I am unable to get past the above.

sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing --advisory=FEDORA-2019-28516f8c38
...
Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'fedora-modular'
Error: Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'fedora-modular'

Any suggestions how to get around this bug? I even tried doing:

sudo rpm -Uvh

for the three rpms (and they seemingly installed) but I still get the same
error upon updating.

sudo dnf update
Fedora Modular 29 - x86_64 0.0 B/x | 0 B
00:00
Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'fedora-modular'
Error: Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'fedora-modular'

Any suggestions as to what I could try?

Many thanks and best wishes,
Ranjan
