AdoptOpenJDK is perfectly fine to use, but is there a specific reason why you would recommend it over the OpenJDK packages already in Fedora? The Fedora packages are a preferred way as they are easier to update and they are dynamically built, which can potentially provide better security. If version needs to be frozen after install, it can be added to the dnf exclude list.
