not exactly what your ask for, but...

I use AnyDesk (same Developers of teamviewer created AnyDesk)
advantage: 
- size < 10 MB !
- runs without install on Windows

I currently can't figure out if it runs on XP, win 7, too
but win 8.1 !

for fedora you need the flatpak version and - I'm unsure - you need to run Xorg
