It was VMworkstation Pro 16.1 and it was uninstalled doing
vmware-unistall -u vmware-workstation

VMware workstation was uninstalled on this system yet some parts
remained.
Which vmware product did you install, how was it installed, and how
did you uninstall it?
This looks like an issue with the vmware package, so you should report the
issue on a vmware forum where you may get help cleaning up your
installation
and also trigger changes so other Fedora users don't encounter the
same problem.
VMware does have uninstall documents with links for reporting problems.
