I'll most likely keep this old windows-10 box for emergency fall-back.
Does it need to be Windows? If so, have you checked to see if it can
be upgraded to Windows 11?
It does not *need* to be windows. It just seems to be the easiest way
to go. But I realize I could install something else over windows on
that box.
microsoft checked without my asking. It cannot be upgraded to 11. I
don't know how old the hardware is, neither does the person who gave it
to me. He seemed to think it's about 6 years old.
