I normally remove the reference line but I'm not working in my
normal environment and overlooked it.

It clearly hangs immediatly. Once took 5 hr nap and still
the same after I work up.

and many other things. Even <Ctrl><Alt>Del doesn't reboot.
Have to power off. Also no vconsoles (<Ctrl><Alt><Fn>).

linux ($root)/vmlinuz-6.16.8-200.fc42.x86_64 root=/dev/mapper/vgSys-lvRoot \
ro rd.lvm.lv=vgSys/lvRoot rhgb quiet \
initcall_blacklist=simpledrm_platform_driver_init \
rd.driver.blacklist=nouveau,nova_core \
modprobe.blacklist=nouveau,nova_core

Removing the rhgb & quiet results in no change. Screen still
clears to black with no output.

I was surprised no "boot" in path but my funtional laptop
has no "boot" mentioned either.
