I have a Dell Laptop that hangs with similar RCU issues when I try to disable the default sleep behaviour per systemd-sleep.conf(5). I've tested this on several different kernel versions. The same configuration has not caused problems on two desktop systems, Many people have similar issues with laptops. The underlying problem can be BIOS or network firmware. -- George N. White III
