fstab "auto" option and automounting.  There is a "best practices" section.

Cinnamon and Gnome default installs don't include autofs -- does KDE
include it?

I assume KDE Partition Manager uses one of these methods.  Have a look at
/etc/fstab.
You may be able to copy the entry for Windows drive C, and adjust the
UUID's and mount
points to suit for the other drives.  If there is nothing in /etc/fstab for
Windows drive C then
KDE likely uses autofs.  That is "on demand", so KDE PM would have to issue
a demand to
actually mount the drive.
