Surprised there's been no other reply to this thread....? Am I the
only one experiencing this problem?
Still persists after update to kernel 6.18.7. I found the coredump
files related to this crash but struggling to interpret them.
Anybody with a suggestion where to go with this? What to do?
I see that you have dual GPUs. That might be related to the issue.
It's not clear where those radeon error lines are coming from, but I
see that the AMD GPU is using the radeon driver. Try adding
"radeon.si_support=0 amdgpu.si_support=1" to the kernel command line
and see if you get the "amdgpu" driver instead of "radeon". You might
only need the second parameter, but you can test that later if using
both works.
I haven't tested 6.18.7 yet, but on 6.18.6 running chrome produces
multiple error in konsole but multiple starts of it all run quite
happily. I've installed chromium to test it and running it also produces
lots of errors in konsole but multiple runs of it also run quite happily
in 6.18.6. I am using an nvidia gpu with the akmods compiled nvidia driver.
