I decided to remove Leavo (from within wine), java (from within wine),
and wine (as root).
Leavo and java did not un-install cleanly.
I'm not 100% sure of the wine un-install. Fewer packages were removed
than were installed, and less space was recovered than was used when
installed. But hopefully that cleaned out more of what the other 2
un-installs missed. I also manually removed .wine and Leawo directory
trees.
I then, as root, installed wine. Curiously, there were fewer packages
and less space. It ended with:

Is this a problem?
Next, as a user, I will within wine install java directly from oracle,
and then Leawo.
Maybe it will work?
After the wine-laewo issues I decided to install vlc to try to play the
Blu-rays. With vlc it is a requirement to install libaac support and
libbdplus and also libbluray if it isn't already installed. I also had
to install java for vlc as well. After installing all these I've managed
to get vlc to play my commercial blu-rays, but to remove video tearing I
had to disable hardware acceleration for video output, and I also had to
set the audio device to Alsa to get any sound output. I do get the
occasional pause in video playback but that is potentially an issue with
the cache size, and blu-ray menus also need to be turned off for vlc to
play the disc, which could be because I'm missing the java plugin
necessary to play the menus.
