I notice this message every 10m in the log. I do run a simple command at that
same time.
dbus-broker-launch[568836]: Ignoring duplicate name
'org.freedesktop.FileManager1' in service file
'/usr/share//dbus-1/services/org.xfce.Thunar.FileManager1.service'
Interestingly I have two similar processes (monitoring two disks with smartctl)
but only one of them triggers this warning.
I then see:
$ grep FileManager1 /usr/share//dbus-1/services/*.service
/usr/share//dbus-1/services/org.kde.dolphin.FileManager1.service:Name=org.freedesktop.FileManager1
/usr/share//dbus-1/services/org.xfce.Thunar.FileManager1.service:Name=org.freedesktop.FileManager1
I use xfce. Is this related?
I am on f42 and just rebooted after an update. I was not getting those messages
before.
The following may be related?
A few weeks ago I needed to install
Thunar.x86_64 4.20.6-1.fc42 updates-testing
to work around Thunar in the main repo crashing:
Thunar.x86_64 4.20.2-2.fc42 fedora
The newer package is still in testing

TIA
