Lately, whenever I run "dnf upgrade" and there are packages to be
installed or upgraded, my output includes these messages, typically
several iterations of them.
>>> Running sysusers scriptlet: systemd-0:258.4-1.fc43.x86_64
>>> Finished sysusers scriptlet: systemd-0:258.4-1.fc43.x86_64
>>> Scriptlet output:
>>> /usr/lib/sysusers.d/inn.conf:3: Conflict with earlier configuration for user
>>> /usr/lib/sysusers.d/slrn.conf:2: Conflict with earlier configuration for use
The last two lines are exactly as shown. The evident truncation is in the
DNF output, not this message.
I've looked and I can't find any relevant older configuration files. (In
fact, I haven't actually used inn or slrn for several years.) The versions
installed are
inn-2.7.3-4.fc43.x86_64
slrn-1.0.3a-20.fc43.x86_64
Presuming the messages indicate an actual problem, does anyone have an
idea how to eliminate them? Should I just remove the packages?

the first place. So if you're as clever as you can be when you write it,
how will you ever debug it?" -- Brian Kernighan
