It's worth mentioning that doing *that* may be a bad idea.

*Some* laptops (my very old Asus does) have a grill between the the
keyboard and screen for ventilation, and it depends on it not being
blocked.

If I wanted the screen off while leaving the laptop running, I have two
choices:  Use hotkeys that turn the display off (you get a choice of
which or both displays are active), or don't completely close the lid.
