I'm sure you could "roll your own" on Fedora if you wanted to put the
effort into it. FWIW, I needed to replace a Drobo a while back and I
ended up building a NAS system and installing TrueNAS on it - the
latest version of TrueNAS is Linux based.
openmediavault is also linux based (and I have it) but it is
ubuntu/debian based and I don't like it.
That's why I asked this question.
