Further explorations using journalctl and an alternate computer.
My primary machine is a Dell XPS 13; I have a desktop that I use occasionally
on which I've been running Fedora since FC22.
Google-Chrome starts on the OldDesktop; on the Laptop it continues to fail. One
direction that I've taken to troubleshoot this is to to compare the installed
rpms on both machines and see if there are missing but unreported dependencies
on the laptop that exist on the desktop. A little time-consuming, but the
benefit is to do some housekeeping.
But using journalctl to compare Google Chrome startups, the results are the
following:
Laptop
