Looked at ip a with a 10 second pause.
shows lo, ethernet, and wifi
# clear; ip a | grep lft; sleep 10; ip a | grep lft
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
valid_lft 78239sec preferred_lft 78239sec
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
valid_lft 78229sec preferred_lft 78229sec
So the wifi time dropped by 10 seconds after 10 seconds.
Not sure what value it starts at. remove other lines.
