Yes. But as I said originally, similar messages have appeared
during *all* of the recent kernel upgrades. The command, "rpm -V $(
rpm -qa | grep ^kernel )" has not produced any output prior to each
upgrade. (After the first upgrade with similar errors, I started running
that command each time.) And, as I wrote in my last message, *all*
of the currently installed kernels (7.0.9-{200,204,205}.fc44.x86_64)
have that directory.
Rather than something going wrong with the new kernel when a kernel
is installed, it seems more likely to me that something is going
wrong when an older kernel is deleted.
(I was also surprised that the installation of 7.0.9-205 caused removal
of 7.0.9-202, not the older 7.0.9-200, but I haven't investigated that.)
