Could you please tell me exactiy what should be in
/etc/systemd/system/mnt-storage_server-NVMe.mount
This file does not exist by default.

Yep, you are 100% correct. I forgot to show the file name and mention that they should be named as the mount-point with dashes instead of forward slashes.
but it is better IMO to not enable this unit, and thus the [Install] section is not needed, nor the ordering After=, but enable only the .automount unit.
Oh, I don't have the .mount unit enabled, actually. Only the .automount unit is enabled and triggers the .mount unit when I access the mount directory. I was just unaware that I didn't need to put the [Install] section in the file. That is good to know.
