That almost does it, but there is still something slightly different: [root@zooty ~]# ls /etc/systemd/system/*.wants/*.service | wc -l 31 [root@zooty ~]# systemctl list-unit-files | grep enabled | wc -l 38 Looks like the extra 7 are things that aren't named .service.
