Is it really necessary to specify the DISPLAY environment variable
within "Application Autostart" *.desktop file. :)

xfconf-query -c xfce4-power-manager -p /xfce4-power-manager/dpms-enabled
xfconf-query -c xfce4-power-manager -p /xfce4-power-manager/dpms-enabled
