Someone else recently posted a trick using rpmrebuild to fix the
google-earth-stable RPM.  You might want to search the archives over the
last month or so.  The latest was google-earth-stable-6.0.3-2197-0 when
I last installed it.  Perhaps Google's yum repo is behind there direct
download?
