If anyone is wondering I'm getting the "count" from: $ dvd+rw-mediainfo /dev/sr0 (with a disc in the drive obviously) It lists several "sizes" for the media and I'm not really sure what the difference is. Interestingly though, brasero showed there would still be free space on disc with my last image file but growisofs from the command line failed... Richard
