How do I assign a static IP on Fedora 20?

Turn off the NetworkManager stuff, install system-config-network, configure your network, issue 'systemctl start network.service', and 'systemctl enable network.service'.

If memory serves me well...

Do not name your interfaces eth0, eth1, etc if you have several interfaces, that will create problems depending on when the different network interfaces are started, use names as wan, lan, etc. instead.
