Hi all, thanks for replying. I'm on a laptop keyboard, with no numeric keypad, so I've no NUM LOCK/0 to try.
You can tell if you're in INS or OVR mode on the status line on the bottom of the window. I tried all the recommendations for Fn and ⌘ key combos, but none of them work. The Accessibility Keyboard/Keyboard Viewer has a numeric keypad, but it only works as expected (0=0 appears). I shall ask nicely for a toggle to be added somewhere <https://github.com/geany/geany/discussions/4090>, so I can create a key binding for it or something similar.
