I'm suspecting this to be a client side issue over server side but

This is a TP-Link TD-W8968 v1.
I've only had v2 worked fair (still not as well as Sagemcom devices).
TP-link modem & modem/routers have not been very promising devices, their
routers I've had little issues with.
