There’s no reference implementation for tr-069, and there’s nobody to ask questions as an implementor, so the clients are all over the map. I understand the BBF may be fixing that at some point, but that point is in the future. TR-181 is a lot more complicated than TR-98, so it’ll only get worse.
As an aside, your problem with the config file may be this: <24> Jun 2 09:47:15 [CWMP_DOWNLOAD] Config download: saving using filename '/dl /cwmp_tmp.ini' <24> Jun 2 09:47:45 [CWMP_DOWNLOAD] Config download failed: timeout connecting to the remote upgrade server I’m not sure what params you had, but generally the file should be a full http URL. ie: http://your_server/filename.ini -- Manny Veloso Sr. Solutions Engineer Smartrg.com From: Fabien Bazille <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Reply-To: Community support for GenieACS users <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Date: Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 5:43 AM To: Community support for GenieACS users <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Subject: Re: Pushing file modem Thanks you for your answer once again Dan, I feel sad, this protocol exist since 2004 and many of CPE can't handle it at 100%. Regards Fabien B 2015-06-02 14:03 GMT+02:00 Dan Morphis <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>>: I don't have anything to contribute on this issue except to say we dumped the Thomson/Technicolor TG585's for the SmartRG 360n. I found the 585 tr069 implementation to be really buggy, and the config GUI a convoluted mess. I hope you have better luck with them. To be fair, the 360 has its own set of defects, but the tr069 client on it is at least consistent and conforms (mostly) to the spec. -dan On Jun 2, 2015, at 12:53 AM, Fabien Bazille <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: Hi, I'm using Technicolor TG585n2 modem, and i'm trying tooo push the configuration file in it, for that i uploaded the file via the file tab on the web interface, and when i try to push the file, it fakes the download, as you can see the genieacs-cwmp log: 2 Jun 10:31:42 - A4B1E9-Technicolor%20TG582n-CP1243VFA1U: Inform (6 CONNECTION REQUEST); retry count 0 2 Jun 10:31:42 - A4B1E9-Technicolor%20TG582n-CP1243VFA1U: Started task download(556d69edd808a21d223d1153) 2 Jun 10:31:42 - A4B1E9-Technicolor%20TG582n-CP1243VFA1U: Completed task download(556d69edd808a21d223d1153) 2 Jun 10:32:18 - A4B1E9-Technicolor%20TG582n-CP1243VFA1U: Inform (); retry count 1 2 Jun 10:32:26 - A4B1E9-Technicolor%20TG582n-CP1243VFA1U: Inform (2 PERIODIC,7 TRANSFER COMPLETE,M Download); retry count 0 2 Jun 10:32:26 - A4B1E9-Technicolor%20TG582n-CP1243VFA1U: Transfer complete In my modem: <24> Jun 2 09:47:10 [CWMP] Connection Request NOT ALLOWED. <26> Jun 2 09:47:10 [CWMP] Connecting to server retry 0. <26> Jun 2 09:47:10 [CWMP] Connected to server, starting transaction. <26> Jun 2 09:47:10 [CWMP] > Inform (6 CONNECTION REQUEST) <26> Jun 2 09:47:10 [CWMP] < Inform Response <26> Jun 2 09:47:10 [CWMP] > Empty Post <26> Jun 2 09:47:10 [CWMP] < Transfer Download <26> Jun 2 09:47:10 [CWMP] Validate action <26> Jun 2 09:47:10 [CWMP] > Download Response <26> Jun 2 09:47:10 [CWMP] < Empty Response <26> Jun 2 09:47:10 [CWMP] > Empty Post <26> Jun 2 09:47:10 [CWMP] < HTTP code 400 <26> Jun 2 09:47:10 [CWMP] Transaction failed, closing connection. <24> Jun 2 09:47:15 [CWMP_DOWNLOAD] Config download: saving using filename '/dl /cwmp_tmp.ini' <24> Jun 2 09:47:45 [CWMP_DOWNLOAD] Config download failed: timeout connecting to the remote upgrade server <26> Jun 2 09:47:45 [CWMP] Connecting to server retry 1. <26> Jun 2 09:47:45 [CWMP] Connected to server, starting transaction. <26> Jun 2 09:47:45 [CWMP] > Inform () <26> Jun 2 09:47:46 [CWMP] < Inform Response <26> Jun 2 09:47:46 [CWMP] > Empty Post <26> Jun 2 09:47:46 [CWMP] < Empty Response <26> Jun 2 09:47:46 [CWMP] Transaction succeeded, closing connection. <14> Jun 2 09:47:53 CONFIGURATION saved by TR69 <26> Jun 2 09:47:53 [CWMP] Connecting to server retry 0. <26> Jun 2 09:47:54 [CWMP] Connected to server, starting transaction. <26> Jun 2 09:47:54 [CWMP] > Inform (2 PERIODIC, 7 TRANSFER COMPLETE, M Downloa d) <26> Jun 2 09:47:54 [CWMP] < Inform Response <26> Jun 2 09:47:54 [CWMP] > Transfer Complete <26> Jun 2 09:47:54 [CWMP] < Transfer Complete Response <26> Jun 2 09:47:54 [CWMP] > Empty Post <26> Jun 2 09:47:54 [CWMP] < Empty Response <26> Jun 2 09:47:54 [CWMP] Transaction succeeded, closing connection. <14> Jun 2 09:48:02 CONFIGURATION saved by TR69 I see connection request not allowed and i don't know why, there are no login/password on the modem for cwmp here is the cwmp config of the modem: {admin}=>cwmp config State : enabled Mode : full Max Envelopes : 2 Session Timeout : 60 No Ip Timeout : 180 Connection Request Port : 7547 Periodic Inform : enabled Periodic Inform Interval : 30 s Periodic Inform Time : 0001-01-01T00:00:00Z Connection Request : enabled Connection Request UserName : Connection Request PassWord : ******** Connection Request Path : cwmp Connection Request Authentication : digest Connection Request Throttling Number : 1 Connection Request Throttling Time : 0 s Show passwords in IGD : enabled Boot delay range between 0 and : 0 s Amendment 1 Session Termination : disabled Upgrade Delay : disabled Upgrade Delay Time Out Action : cancel Persistent Subscriptions : disabled URL Source Interface : none ACS url : http://185.48.254.18:7547/ ACS username : ACS password : ******** There is no password it just display * anyway.
