The same happened to me the other day. The problem was of the CPE not understanding the parameter I was trying to modify. (The manufacturers told me the parameter exists but is invisible for GenieACS).
I am in process of writing an email with a reproducible example to the manufacturers.
Have you tried to perform other operations like setting a parameter or reading a parameter to that specific CPE? Could you tell us the response?
