Not that much. I'm pretty new here, compared to the ones that have been
working in this field for years. (I did not know the existence of TR-069
and GenieACS since less than 2 years ago)
Normally, if it does not work, it is a problem of the CPEs not following
the standards. I also have been fighting all the time with some Chinese
CPEs which would not connect to GenieACS, and the problems that arise
are mainly theirs. You can make workarounds, as you can see from other
e-mails here, but you have to manually modify internal code. If you're
lucky, you will be only changing config files, but most of the errors
can't be solved that easy way.
Appart from that, I suggest you using the v1.0 for now. As you can see,
v1.1alpha doesn't fetch the entire list of parameters, and you have to
make some changes to it.
Good luck!

Thank you very much.
Are you familiar with GenieACS and making it compatible with other
CPE’s? We’re having issues with quite a few it seems since our upgrade
to 1.1.0Alpha, it seems as nothing is reporting any details beyond my
example below.

Sorry, I was mistaken. They sent us an alfa version fixing the
problem. That's why it is not on the firmware's page.
That's what they told us in a message a month ago in their helpdesk:
Hi Sergio,
Thank you for contacting Grandstream Networks EMEA Support center.
Please note that an official version is currently under QA testing,
we will released as soon as we finish our QA testing, Thanks.
Best Regards,
Abdenasser
If you want to try with the alpha, here it is, an internal link:

Thank you, when I look up my HT701, I only get this info:
I am running as you can see firmware version 1.0.8.2 and am running
GenieACS 1.1.0Alpha

You're welcome, Kris
With the version 1.0.8.2 the errors must be fixed. When I analyzed
the data, the problem was malformed XML the HT701 sent. I don't
know how it was working in other ACSs.
It happened the same to the HT502 and with the GXV3275.
Surprisingly, the GXP1610 worked great from the beggining.

Thank you Sergio,
So you've confirmed the issue is with Grandstreams firmware and
not GenieACS's interpretation of the parameters passed by the
TR69 protocol?

I have been working with these devices, and, after some

Now I don't know if they have released the beta in

Manny, one question. How do you deactivate the refresh
task? I didn't know it could be done

That seems to imply that the CPE is telling Genie that
the parameter exists, but when genie goes to get that
parameter the CPE says it doesn’t exist.
You’ll probably have to turn the refresh task off. Can
you do that on a per-device basis?

Subject: HT-701 & other device interoperability
Getting the following fault when attaching a
Grandstream HT-701, as I understand this it looks like
the CPE is passing the wrong or malformed variable to
GenieACS so it can't capture it.
Where can I modify the accepted parameters so this
fault doesn't occur?
The error is causing the CPE to have very limited
configurability (I can only view the LAN IP and model
number... that's about it).
