It seems to be related to nodejs 8.x on debian.
Using: https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_8.x I had this issue
Using: https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_6.x the issue was gone.
Took me a while to figure it out as on Ubuntu it’s not the case.

It comes from Node itself. From what I'm seeing everything looks fine
so I'm not sure why the connection timeout is seemingly set to 5
seconds.
