I've been working on figuring out this issue for about the last week or so and
haven't gotten anywhere with it yet. When I try to add or delete an object
through a provision script, a preset, or through the add or delete options in
the object list of a specific device, I always end up with the same issue. When
I try an add or delete, the CPE seems to hang and I normally see the addObject
or deleteObject task but it never seems to complete and causes the CPE to stop
responding to the server. When going through the debug log and a Wireshark
capture between the ACS and CPE, I see that the CPE is communicating with the
server but it appears the server is not responding to the CPE with the add or
delete command. Because of this, it looks like the CPE is left in a listening
state waiting for a response from the ACS that will never come. The only way to
stop this behavior is to destroy the queued add or delete task and refresh the
CPE.

Just a little info about my setup if that helps. I'm running GenieACS 1.1.2 on
Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS with an NGINX reverse proxy for basic authentication of
CPEs. Primarily, my CPEs are BEC Technologies 8920ne modems but I have tested
and replicated the same issue with some other Zyxel models I had lying around.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Devin
