I did this last week when someone contacted me to install OpenSER+MediaProxy since they have tried and failed. I worked their configuration into a functional situation. Once they started sending their calls thru this system, they called me back with complaints about audio problems. Mediaproxy app was solid at 100% cpu - in top - running 205 simultaneous calls. Since this customer was not paying me for development assistance, I suggested we move to Asterisk as he stated he also needed to be able to transcode between codecs and someday wanted their own voicemail solution - so that situation made sense to use Asterisk. > Just curious why you'd complain and then not be able to offer any > specifics? I would have to lab it up - as I said this was for someone looking for a functional solution, not development or research. If someone has a compensation plan for development and/or research, please feel free to contact me.
