Let me throw in one more item: I don't know what versions of Open MPI are 
available in those Rocks Rolls, but Open MPI v3.0.0 was released yesterday.  
You will be much better served with a modern version of Open MPI (vs. v1.4, the 
last release of which was in 2012).
