Yes I have fab tools on all boxes:

root@contrail-ctrl1:/opt/contrail/utils# pip list | grep -i fab
contrail-fabric-utils (0.1dev)
Fabric (1.7.5)

root@contrail-ctrl2:~# pip list | grep -i fab
contrail-fabric-utils (0.1dev)
Fabric (1.7.5)

root@contrail-ctrl3:~# pip list | grep -i fab
contrail-fabric-utils (0.1dev)
Fabric (1.7.5)

root@contrail-tsn1:~# pip list | grep -i fab
contrail-fabric-utils (0.1dev)
Fabric (1.7.5)

I definitely didn't run into this issue when provisioning compute on all
nodes. It seems to have cropped up when I removed that role though it's
baffling why it doesn't seem to be an issue on all nodes.

To note I've started from the same point each time as each VM is snap shot
at the point where I've installed the OS, and ran "dpkg -i
/root/contrail-install-packages_2.20-64-ubuntu-14-04juno_all.deb" and then
"cd /opt/contrail/contrail_packages;   ./setup.sh " on all nodes.

I am then running the following from host1:

fab install_contrail
(host1 reboots)
fab setup_all

The only change from where we originally started this morning is that I've
added host4 to testbed.py:

host4 = '[email protected]'

and reconfigured roles:

#Role definition of the hosts.
env.roledefs = {
    'all': [host1, host2, host3, host4],
    'cfgm': [host1, host2, host3],
    'openstack': [host1, host2, host3],
    'control': [host1, host2, host3],
    'compute': [host4],
    'collector': [host1, host2, host3],
    'webui': [host1, host2, host3],
    'database': [host1, host2, host3],
    'build': [host_build],
}

Guess I'll re-try my earlier install where I was configuring compute on all
nodes and see if at least this import error goes away.

Thanks!
Dan
