Hi Raj,

thanks, that was doing the trick. I have the option available now, but only one out of three switches seems to be discovered correctly.

I will send you the logs in a separate mail.

Thanks
Sebastian

please try restarting contrail-snmp-collector and contrail-topology - if
you still see problems, enable debug logs [corresponding .conf files]
for these
daemons and restart them and send us the logs..

thanks

Hi all,

I am running Contrail 2.21 un ubuntu 14.04 and try to get started with
Underlay/Overlay Mapping. I followed the instructions from the
documentation:

http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/en_US/contrail2.21/topics/task/configuration/underlay-overlay-mapping-vnc.html

I have a setup with three Juniper EX switches and configured them for
SNMP and sflow. I also added them as "physical routers" in the
Contrail GUI along with their SNMP community. Tcpdump on the contrail
server shows me that sflow is been recieved from all switches. SNMP
queries by contrail are answered by all three switches.

When I check these switches at:

http://<ip>:8081/analytics/uves/prouter/<switchname>?flat

two look like this:

{"UvePhysicalRouterConfig": {"product_info": ":", "auto_conf_enabled":
false, "netconf_enabled_status": false, "ip_address": "172.24.1.154"}}

The third one is acutally showing the interfaces of the switch. When I
check the switches in the GUI, none of them shows any interfaces.
Additionally I am not able to find the following menu point in the GUI
as mentioned by the documentation:

"The topology view and related functionality is accessed from the
Physical Topology link in the Monitor tab of the Contrail user
interface, Monitor > Physical Topology"

There is no such point in my GUI under "Monitor". I saw some
screenshots from opencontrail.org, where this point is located between
"Dashboard" and "Control Nodes" but it is not there on my installation.

Any idea how I could move on? The services seem to run:

$ sudo service contrail-topology status
contrail-topology                RUNNING    pid 2032, uptime 14:46:09
$ sudo service contrail-snmp-collector status
contrail-snmp-collector          RUNNING    pid 2031, uptime 14:46:46

Thanks

Sebastian
