I am currently working with contrail 2.21 and checked for the
possibility of DNS resolution. I have created a DNS Server which is
working fine for my virtual machines, but I cannot access the DNS
records from external.
I checked the status at
http://<ip>:8092/Snh_ShowVirtualDnsServers?
and it shows me "external_visible : no" which is probably the reason why
I cannot access the DNS records from the outside world. I tried to setup
the virtual DNS by using "add_virtual_dns.py", but this throws an
authentication error.
So, I have 2 questions:
- Is there a possibility to set the flag "external_visible" from the
Contrail GUI?
- How can I pass authentication parameters to the DNS script?
