I think I might have discovered why this is happening. I checked the RSA fingerprint and it's the same if I try to connect via SSH to node as root:

Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? no Host key verification failed. r...@front-end:/var/log/one# I don't know why, but somehow OpenNebula is trying to connect to the node using the root account. I'm going to reinstall it and see if the problem persists.
