Hi, If you are using LVM for hosts storage and standard filesystem for the repository storage, you can try my hacked tm_lvm[1] for opennebula 3.4.0.
It support .gz images and also .tar.gz filesystem. Images files are detared/dezipped into logicals volumes via SSH. This save time during deployment but mainly save space on the repository. À: [email protected] Date: Mardi 1 mai 2012, 20h15 Hello,it would be very useful to be able to upload OS images in a .gz format. In the case of RAW images, the file should be simply gzipped and uploaded as it is to the datastore. This would speed up enormously the upload of of images to hosts especially when using TM_SSH. Despite we're on a 10GBPS network, this still takes a bit too long.I understand that using a shared fs would solve this problem, and we're thinking about this as well. Thanks, Valerio -----La pièce jointe associée suit----- _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.opennebula.org/listinfo.cgi/users-opennebula.org
