To OpenNebula Users,

As part of our work at Research In Motion in deploying OpenNebula, we are
developing a tool that we believe can be of benefit to the wider community.
The tool which we are calling the Carina Environment Manager allows for the
automated deployment, elastic scaling and high-availability management of
interconnected application clusters based on policies. If you are tired of
manually deploying individual VMs and want a system to deploy, scale up ,
scale down or restart VMs in an entire Tomcat web farm behind a software
load-balancer (for example) then Carina might be of interest to you. It is a
relatively light-weight tool (about 5000 lines of code in Ruby and bash script
currently) which is designed to be easy to understand, extensible and
adaptable. We welcome participation and feedback from the community to help us
evolve it. You can find more details about it together with the code on our
GitHub site at https://github.com/blackberry/OpenNebula-Carina. Thank you for
your attention.
