Dear Sergei,

Answering your questions:

- Can I specify a DVPortGroup for the VM? Currently all VMs inherit it
from a vMware template?

Yes, although you need a vOneCloud based on the newest OpenNebula
4.10.2. This vOneCloud is going to be available in a few days. In this
new version, DVPortGroups can be imported automatically from vCenter,
or created manually:
http://docs.opennebula.org/4.10/administration/virtualization/vcenterg.html#virtual-network-definition.

- Can I have VM name the same as a host name I supply instead of
'one-###' (I am using vOneCloud, not sure if it is a settable
parameter)

Currently this is not possible, this is a feature that has high
priority in our roadmap: http://dev.opennebula.org/issues/3468

- Can I, before creating a VM, call my own script and populate context
for the VM with the data from this script?

One way of achieving this would be through the Hook mechanism
(http://docs.opennebula.org/4.10/integration/infrastructure_integration/hooks.html).
For instance, a hook can be attached to the CREATED state of the VM,
so a script will be triggered to retrieve whatever desired information
and update the template of the VM to add the information to the
CONTEXT section.

Hope it helps,

-Tino
