Hello, I assume you use 1.1. Beware that the prototype for these functions has changed since 1.0. Check the readme file of avpops module to see the new format for parameters.

If you are doing some migration, consider 1.2 or if you have some time you can keep testing a bit, latest devel will be released as stable 1.3 in the near future.
