You don't need it in a HearBeat enviroment since the service (OpenSer) should just be running in the active node and be swtiched off in the inactive node. When HeartBeat activates a nodo it firsts enables the virutal/shared IP on it, and later runs the services. So OpenSer just needs to know the virtual/shared IP and not the "real" IP of each node.
