Dean,

We're currently transition to Satellite 6 mainly because rhn classic will end
july 2017. All systems will have to move to subscription management. That
said, Satellite 6, while very nice, is not quite integrated with OpenShift yet.
I attended this session at Summit that shows a 'work around' way to use both.

https://rh2016.smarteventscloud.com/connect/sessionDetail.ww?SESSION_ID=45154

It may or may not help?

I'm not positive but I think openshift enterprise 3.x requires subscription
management. I did find this solution

https://access.redhat.com/solutions/1488483

that mentions this solution for importing Openshift content into satellite 5. I
think this may be what you're looking for?

OpenShift 3 on Satellite 5

Thanks,

Todd Walters

I went to the link:
"https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Faccess.redhat.com%2Frhn-to-rhsm&data=01%7C01%7Ctodd_walters%40unigroup.com%7Cdcb2533a72dc4d4adff608d3f43f9b08%7C259bdc2f86d3477b8cb34eee64289142%7C1&sdata=BVaQsOdf1qBgtjqW0%2FWlOLTkN1IYT7UfU3bM73kLw2A%3D&reserved=0";.
 It says
satellite users should be unaffected. I'm a little confused. I'm using
satellite, but when I type subscription-manager register it says i'm
registered. However, when I run "subscription-manager attach --auto", it
spins for a while then says I am not registered. We pay a lot of money for
Openshift Enterprise and it will not work without upgrading our entire
satellite system? Right now we are on version 5.5 of satellite. There is no
way to make this work with our existing setup?
